Clarissa is a senior associate at a small independent firm of intellectual property attorneys in Brisbane. Clarissa holds a PhD in synthetic organic chemistry, and a Masters of Intellectual Property. In addition to working in private practice as a patent and trade marks attorney, Clarissa recently worked for a number of years as an in-house IP manager at the CSIRO, in their food and agriculture group. She particularly enjoys advising on IP strategy, portfolio management, and contentious matters in the pharma, food and agriculture sectors.
