Ziming Ye, mentee in the 2018 Energy-Minerals Resources program in QLD (The University of Queensland).
Ziming Ye received his bachelor of Mineral processing with Honours at the China University of Mining and Technology(Beijing) 2016. He is currently working towards a Doctor of Philosophy at Julius Kruttschnitt Mineral Research Centre (JKMRC), the University of Queensland. He is also working with the Trade and Investment Queensland as the member of Queensland International Student Advisory Panel.
His fields of research are in the dynamic simulation of materials handling and storage in dry comminution circuit. The purpose of Ziming’s project is to design a platform for dynamic models in materials handling and storage circuit which can simulate different operation scenarios and evaluate different control strategies. These dynamic models can then be used to predict the dynamic performance of a mineral processing plant.
Ziming is very eager to learn more in the mineral processing field and to become elite in mineral processing is a long term goal. He wishes to get precious experience in research and industry. Ziming hopes to strengthen the links and cooperation between China and Australia in the mineral processing field in the future.
