
Terence Tieu, mentee in the 2020-21 program in VIC (Monash University).
Terence is a PhD candidate in the Drug Delivery, Disposition, and Dynamics (D4) department at Monash Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (MIPS). His research focuses on understanding how novel nanoformulations deliver small interfering RNA (siRNA) towards clinical patient tissue samples, establishing an ex vivo model that aims to aid the acceleration of nanoformulations towards the clinic. His goal is to utilise his interdisciplinary experience in materials science and medical research to apply his skills in a career in the biotech or pharma industry that will lead to global translational health outcomes.
