Saeedeh Taheri, mentee in the 2019 MedTech-Pharma program in VIC (The University of Melbourne)
After gaining my master’s degree in Chemical engineering (food industry), I started working in a beverage factory as an R&D senior expert, where I focused on process and product improvement/development. I obtained lots of valuable experience in the production and formulation of soft drinks and non-alcoholic beer. After four years of working, I came back to the academy to start a research career in food and agriculture. As a Ph.D. student, my project involves the development of a physical method with electromagnetic sources for disinfection of legume.
