IMNIS Mentee Md Shazzad Hossain
Md Shazzad Hossain is currently pursuing his PhD degree at Federation University Australia. His PhD project is about designing and implementing an inlet control valve for energy converters for increased energy efficiency and reliability. But due to travel restrictions, he is currently enrolled as a part time student from overseas. His project deals with the objective of improving efficiency of conventional energy converter systems by optimizing the design and response parameters of inlet control valves. The prime focus is to design and implement such inlet control valves. He will be primarily working closely in the design of high speed electrical control circuits. Besides his PhD studentship, he is working as Assistant Engineer at Dhaka Power Distribution Company Limited since Dec. 2015. Before that he was a Lecturer at North Western University, Bangladesh. Shazzad completed his B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Khulna University of Engineering and Technology, Bangladesh in Sep. 2014 with a CGPA of 3.81(4.00). He also successfully completed his 12 year schooling with a GPA of 5.00(5.00). In his personal life, Shazzad has his mother, wife and two siblings.
