Manuel Herduin completed his BSc. in France in Civil engineering and MSc. in France in renewable energy. Manuel has worked as a research assistant at the University of Exeter (UK) working on offshore renewable energy projects. Manuel is now doing a PhD at UWA on anchoring systems for offshore renewable energy facilities. He is looking at the possibility to connect one anchor to multiple floating facilities. His PhD mainly uses an experimental approach (soil element tests and centrifuge modelling) with a small part of numerical modelling (hydrodynamic modelling of wave energy converters).
