IMNIS Mentee Gayathri Radhabi Gopinathan Nair
Gayathri is currently pursuing a Ph.D. at the School of Information Technology at Deakin University. On receiving the Deakin university post-graduate research scholarship, she came to Australia in 2019. The research focus is on adversarial learning and deep learning with its applications in cybersecurity.
Motivated by the emerging technologies, Gayathri completed Masters of Technology in Computer Science(specialized in Machine Learning). She was working as an Assistant Professor at Amrita Vishwa Vidya Peetham where she handled courses like Machine Learning and Big Data Analytics. She has expertise in machine learning with its application in various domains like cybersecurity, healthcare, etc. She also did projects in complex network analysis. Before, she served as an IT Analyst in Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). As the advent of AI and other technologies has shown the need for interdisciplinary research, she is optimistic to use her skillset effectively in the industry and academia. She aspires to be an AI specialist where she can utilize the expertise she has gained so far from her experiences.
