Diana Zhang, mentee in the 2020-21 program in NSW (UNSW)
Diana is a STEM ambassador, multi award-winning scholar, university medallist, and author of several research publications in analytical chemistry and music psychology.
She is currently a 2nd year Scientia PhD Scholar from the University of New South Wales. Her PhD project integrates the latest chemical detection systems with advanced machine learning algorithms for more rapid, sensitive, and accurate disease diagnosis. Prior to her PhD program, Diana completed dual honours in Bachelor of Music and Bachelor of Advanced Science majoring in piano performance and analytical chemistry from UNSW.
Outside of her studies, Diana is a professional musician, an active social services volunteer, and an avid traveller.
