Chiara Sumich, mentee in the 2019 IMNIS Program in WA (UWA)
I am a current PhD candidate who is passionate about improving the lives of disadvantaged children, families and communities. Iām interested in researching and implementing multidisciplinary, evidence-based solutions to familial, social and economic challenges or providing guidance and skills to youth through teaching and mentoring. I thrive in an environment where I’m interacting with people, challenging myself, learning new skills and making a real contribution.
My PhD project investigates the influence of households’ personal resource networks on child growth. I have experience in survey design and implementation, database management, mixed methods data analysis and event management.
