Carolina Lliberos, mentee in the 2019 MedTech-Pharma program in VIC (Monash University)
Carolina Lliberos received her Bachelors of Biotechnology at the Rovira i Virgili University (Spain), after which she completed her Master of Molecular Biotechnology at the University of Barcelona (Spain) in 2014. Between 2015-2016 Carolina worked as an assistant research fellow at DKFZ in Heidelberg, Germany. She is currently working towards her Doctorate of Philosophy at the Monash University (Biomedicine Discovery Institute), in the Ovarian Biology Laboratory. Her research project focuses on the study of the impact of inflammation on ovarian ageing and fertility, in particular how ovarian ageing could be delayed, and fertility prolonged, by suppressing inflammatory processes in the ovary.
