Starting my Ph.D. journey in the construction management sector at the School of Architecture and Built Environment, Deakin University on a Deakin University Postgraduate Research scholarship. Currently working in the field of Internet-of-Things (IoT) in construction industry with a focus on developing economical concrete sensors for real-time monitoring of various parameters. Tutoring students in construction management tools and techniques as a sessional staff member. Working experience as a Senior Planning Engineer for an Indian Railways bridge project constructing 667 bridges over a 222 km railway freight corridor.
Experienced in the field of construction project management and civil engineering design. My PhD project utilises sensors, data analytics and predictive modelling under the umbrella of Internet-of-Things to solve real-life concreting problems. Objectives like concrete lifecycle monitoring in real-time, structural health monitoring of hardened concrete and automated curing would be the emphasis of this project. Finally, the proposed digital solutions would be designed to be cost effective, easily implementable and add tangible value to the construction industry suffering from low productivity.
